INCEPTION SPOILER
I’ve cracked Inception.
They explain the totem as an object carried constantly that you, and only you, know the properties of; which aren’t immediately obvious from a visual examination. The brit had a loaded die, Page had a top heavy chess piece.
But Cobb’s totem isn’t his! It’s his wife’s! This immediately invalidates it: someone other than the owner knows...
